We've all seen him on Project Runway, but there's more to designer Richard Hallmarq than what is just portrayed through the television screen. He is an artist and dreamer hailing from Sacramento and is very talented at using jersey fabric and making it into chic and comfortable garments.
Hallmarq has done a lot in Sacramento after coming back from competing on Project Runway-- he is fiercely loyal and passionate not only about fashion but being a part of the local community. Even though he has been observed by millions of eyes every Thursday evening during an episode of Project Runway, Hallmarq still remains humble and grounded-- such as making appearances at local education institutions such Sacramento State University to share his experiences about the fashion industry and not only how to 'make' it, but to still retain your identity while doing so. Hallmarq has even come home to produce fashion shows free to the public, such as his recent display of his creative talents at The Park Ultra Lounge this past May.
This August, Hallmarq will be the Master of Ceremonies for our Hair and Fashion Battle, as well as revealing his next collection of fashion apparel at the show. With his charismatic personality, skills at design and unique and bright outlook on the world around him, Hallmarq will no doubt make this upcoming Battle a show to remember
